Tom Oxnard reports that the recent banquet for Horizons was very successful, attended by some 250 people.  Horizons Savannah, chaired by Tom, is in partnership with Bethesda Academy this year and its activities will be conducted partially on the Bethesda campus. Previously its classes and other features were all to be seen on the Savannah Country Day campus, for which accommodations and help Tom extended thanks to Country Day. Tom told members that Bethesda is very enthusiastic about Horizons and its offer of summer academics, mentoring and sports for children, and there is hope that this type of work will be extended to other schools.  Tom McGoldrick added that there will be greater involvement of our club with Bethesda in time to come.
