Homelessness in Savannah was presented by The Rev. Michael Chaney is a bi-vocational Episcopal priest at The Episcopal Church of the Epiphany in Savannah and works closely with the homeless Community of St Joseph in west Savannah. He is also a professor of Film and Television at SCAD and works with the Savannah Film Festival.  His work as clergy, artist, and educator focuses on building relationships across boundaries and finding common ground while honoring and celebrating diversity. Originally from Mississippi, he has lived in Savannah for over twenty-two years.  He is married to Nicole Koplik, a special education advocate with the Matthew Reardon Center for Autism.  They have three sons.  He's an avid outdoorsman and likes craft beer and has enjoyed playing designer board games with his family during the Covid crisis.
