Boy Scout Troop 51 Skidaway Island   and  Rotary Club of Skidaway Island presents the premier running of their Mothers Day 5k Trail Run / Fun Walk on Saturday, May 12, 2018. Starting time is 9:30 AM.
The Run starts at the Skidaway Island Presbyterian Church and using the Skidaway Island State Park trails, it ends at the Skidaway Island Village shops. All runners and walkers are welcome. This is a trail run and it will be difficult for strollers to do the course, but you can try.
The run is being done in conjunction with the Rotary Family Fun Fest which is starting at 10:30AM as the run ends and where the normal end of race water and snacks are available. The Family Fun Fest is where you can stay and enjoy kids bouncy house, kids train ride, face painting, kids games, the Village Library book sale, the LAA Art Sale, a plant sale by Hester & Zipperer,  a car show and various vendor booths.
The Rotary Family Fun Fest starts at 10”30  AM.  Registered 5K participants get a Rotary Hot Dog or Bratwurst, Snacks (chips, cookies) and a Drink in the Rotary Family Fun Fest area of the Skidaway Island Village starting around 11:00. The meal is also available for purchase for everyone else.
Run Sponsors get along with their name on the t-shirt and brochures a free entry for the run.
Onsite registration and packet pickup begins at 8AM at the Skidaway Island Presbyterian Church.
A free Childs Fun Run is at 10:15 AM and Awards will be around 10:30AM all at the Family Fun Fest.
 5K Registration fee:       $20.00 until February 15th
                                     $25.00 February 15th until May 11th
                                     $30 day of race.
A great short sleeve race shirt in size listed below will be given to 5 K participants that register by May 1st. After this date size cannot be guaranteed.

Boy Scout Troop 57 supports inner-city Boys Scouts and Performance Initiative’s Kids Café.
Rotary Club of Skidaway Island promotes Early Childhood Literacy, Youth Leadership and the END POLIO NOW effort plus support for other local charities.
