The Cliff Dochterman Award has been awarded this year for the first time.  It recognizes an individual Rotarian who acts as a role model and renders distinguished and dedicated service to Scouting through active service and leadership.  Paul Meyer easily qualified for this award.
An avid Rotarian, he is past president of the Rotary Club of Skidaway Island, and former scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 57.  Paul serves on the board of the Coastal Empire Council of the Boy Scouts of America, and is also an Eagle Scout.  He is a founding partner of the Meyer & Sayers law firm.
Paul received this award on May 16 from Rotary District Governor Hamsa Thota, himself an active supporter of Scouting.  Skidaway Rotarians rose to honor Paul for his lifetime achievements in Scouting.
